Switch from Square to Rndez
Bring your Square clients with you. Here’s how, step by step.
1Get your list out of Square
File: CSV
- Sign in to your Square Dashboard on a computer.
- Open Customers, then Customer directory.
- Click Import / Export, then Export customers. Pick All customers, then Export, then Download.
- Square’s file can include profiles it made on its own from card payments. The preview shows them, so you can see what will be added.
- Using a Square reader at your place? Rndez works with Square for deposits and payments too.

2Upload it to Rndez
In Rndez, open Clients and pick Import. Choose the file. CSV or Excel (.xlsx).
3Check it, then add it
Rndez shows how many clients it found, which are new and which are already on your list. Nothing is added until you say yes. People already there are matched, not doubled, and keep your notes.
4Share your new link
Put it in your Instagram bio and on Google. Keep Square until the clients already booked there have come in.

Questions
What comes with me when I switch?
Names, emails, phone numbers and notes. Past bookings and payments stay in your old app, so keep a copy there.
Can I use both apps for a while?
Yes. Keep your old app until the clients already booked there have come in. New bookings go to Rndez.
Does Rndez own my client list?
No. Your clients are yours. We never show them other shops, and we never message them for ourselves.
